MOSI AVRO GAME CONTROLLER Jailmake designed and made this interactive model for the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI), robust enough to withstand daily use from hundreds of visitors. Based on an early aviation concept, where the wings contort in order to steer, the model was a way of showing the rotation of wings in a physical form for visitors to engage with. The player twists the wings to steer a plane through a series of onscreen obstacles, with the resultant movements mapped into the game animation. Software developed by Kin Design.
